I will be finishing my residency in June 2008, and I am hoping to find an associate position in the Bay Area. I went to dental school at the University of Florida, and I am doing my residency in San Antonio. You could say I am making my way across the country. I have loads of experience with oral conscious sedation. I do about 3-5 cases a week and have sometimes two in a day. I feel very comfortable doing oral sedations now and more importantly when not to do them. I feel I am at a very malleable stage in my career, and am very open to trying new approaches to treatment so as long as it is at or above the standard of care. I have great relationships with all of the staff at our clinics. I communicate well with parents and treat my patients with the compassion they deserve. I am young, energetic, and very excited about my new profession. I love my job, and look forward to going to work every morning. I realize my residency can only give me the foundation to my career, and I am excited to learn more about pediatric dentistry.
