It is a free-standing, 10 chair, 4,000 sq. ft. office. Four chairs are for general dentistry, two for hygiene, and four for orthodontics. Because the fire completely destroyed the building and contents, everything in the office is new. Currently the office is staffed by one general dentist, a part-time orthodontist and two hygienists. The practice needs a second full-time general dentist due to the large volume of patients. Prior to the fire there were two full-time general dentists at the practice. The dentists work closely as a team, consulting on patients and referring to one another. In addition to being a good learning experience for the dentists, this teamwork enhances the quality of patient care. The successful candidate will assume a large, active patient load and be busy five days per week (Monday-Friday) and earn a high income. A dentist trained in a GPR will be able to use the endodontic, oral surgery and periodontal skills learned in the program. Selinsgrove is a college town (Susquehanna University) in central Pennsylvania, one hour north of Harrisburg, the state capital, 20 minutes south of Lewisburg, home to Bucknell University, and one hour from State College, PA, home of Penn State University and the Bryce Jordan Center. The Bryce Jordan Center hosts major sporting events and concerts by big name stars. The local universities and communities offer numerous cultural and entertainment programs. Central Pennsylvania is a scenic area of gently rolling hills, rivers and lakes that offers ample activities for outdoor enthusiasts, including hiking, camping, golfing, boating, fishing, downhill and water skiing, hunting, etc. Other assets of the area include friendly, well educated people, excellent schools and good healthcare.
