POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Orthodontic Assistant will be responsible for assisting the doctor at chair-side, assisting with the flow of patients, record taking (using panoramic and cephalometric x-ray systems), and some lab work. Elite Smiles is looking for an experienced assistant with excellent communication skills as well as a friendly, energetic, and welcoming personality. The ideal candidate has a strong desire for personal and professional growth and has 2+ years of experience as an orthodontic assistant. This position is a part-time leading to full time.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Orthodontic Assistant (COA)
• Knowledge of early interceptive treatment appliances, braces, and Invisalign
• Experience with OrthoTrac practice management and imaging software
• Familiarity with record taking using panoramic and cephalometric x-ray systems
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel between multiple office locations a plus, but not required
