Coast Dental is looking for an experienced Hygienist looking to take on a new and exciting opportunity in our Merritt Island, Jacksonville and Orange Park area, FL practices.​ This is a great opportunity for an experienced Hygienists to be part of a great team and growing company!

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Examine patients’ teeth and gums, recording the presence of diseases and abnormalities.​
* Perform cleanings as diagnosed by the dentist, such as root planning and a periodontal therapy.​
* Educate patients on good oral hygiene and provide other preventative dental care.​
* Remove calculus, stains, and plaque from teeth.​
* Remove soft and hard deposits from teeth.​
* Expose and process dental radiographs.​
* Prepare clinical and laboratory diagnostic tests for the dentist to interpret.​
* All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.​


In addition to full and part-time opportunities, Coast Dental also offers a flexible schedule for our on-call hygienists.​ In East Florida, we are looking in the areas of Jacksonville and Orange Park!

Requirements

* Associates degree in dental hygiene.​
* Registered dental hygiene licensed by the state in which they practice.​
* Commitment to quality patient care and enjoy educating the patients on dental health.​
