Birner Dental Management Services, Inc. has an opening for a Pediatric Dentist in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Pediatric Dentist diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums, and related oral structures of children. Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of dental office. Directly supervises 0-3 non-supervisory employees, the dental assistan(s,) and/or Expanded Duty Dental Assistant(s) in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or satisfying three to four years prerequisite to enter dental school. Complete four-year Dental Program and successfully pass Dental Board Examinations. May complete General Practice Residency (GPR) or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with overtime required as needed.
