Description:
The San Diego American Indian Health Center is seeking a part-time (.2/.4 FTE) Dentist.

Responsibilities: Under supervision from the Dental Director, performs dental examinations, prophylactic and periodontal treatments and instructs groups and/or individuals in oral hygiene in a manner consistent with guidelines established by the SDAIHC and Federal and State funding sources.

Education and/or Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited dental program, must be CPR certified, licensed to practice as a dentist in California, able to follow and apply established office policies and procedures.

Indian Preference:
Hiring preference is given to qualified American Indian applicants in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (Title 25, USC Section 472).

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation commensurate with experience. Benefits include pro-rata vacation and sick leave. Life insurance, chiropractic, dental and vision available at employee cost.
