Guthrie Clinic is currently searching for a Dentist to join the Section of Dentistry at the Main campus in Sayre, PA, as well as The Cosmetic Centre, in Big Flats, NY. The successful candidate will have clinical skills and integrity to complement the existing team of providers. General Practice Residency or previous hospital-based practice experience will provide the candidate with a level of competency enabling a smoother transition to this busy practice of often complex, multi-disciplinary treatment plans. Residency training or hospital practice is a very desirable aspect of the candidate’s experience when considering selection. Section of Dentistry offers comprehensive services for evaluation, treatment and consultation to a diversified patient base. Adjacent to the Robert Packer Hospital, the Section provides inpatient consultative and treatment procedures, including Operating room and Emergency Department services. Quality of patient care is enhanced through a historically cooperative relationship with the medical sections with which we most often co-manage patient care. Over the nearly 70 years that Dental Services have been provided at the Guthrie Clinic, Physicians and Dentists have maintained a working relationship that not only provides for good patient care, but also for a rewarding clinical environment. The Section of Dentistry has, for over 25 years, maintained a practice composed of three GPR-trained Dentists, three Hygienists and an Orthodontist. Currently, a Periodontist provides care in our office on a limited schedule. The Cosmetic Centre, in Big Flats, NY, provides an array of services including Dentistry, Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. To complement these services, traditional massage and spa procedures are offered. Reimbursement mix for the Section of Dentistry is 90% fee-for-service, with the remaining 10% being contracted services. There is potential for participation in the Federal Loan Repayment Program.
